How Youll Make an Impact

The objective of the International Pricing Supervisor is to develop the pricing strategy along with sales, marketing, and product strategy for all of Global Products to enable sales growth while optimizing profitability. This includes developing processes and standardize practices and providing support for each region to implement. The role will work closely with pricing analysts in each region as well as the region general manager to ensure alignment and effectiveness of pricing strategies. The position is responsible for generating and compiling reports for all of Global Products on the effectiveness of the strategies and apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of pricing strategies. Partners with pricing leaders in each region to develop and analyze metrics in order to determine current KPI effectiveness and manage the price change process. This role will be expected to actively identify, recommend, and implement improvements in price performance, data accuracy and response time to Sales and Marketing. In the role, you would be responsible for:

• Developing, steering, and executing pricing framework for Global Products. Includes collaboration with global sales and marketing leaders and global product strategy to establish best practices and measure effectiveness of pricing strategy through KPIs. Manage implementation of strategy in CPQ globally.
• Managing tactical and administrative activities of pricing maintenance to ensure pricing data accuracy. This includes price changes, new pricing setup, price lists for transfer pricing process.
• Collecting and analyzing data relating to current and predicted market conditions or competitive pricing intelligence to recommend pricing strategies and standardize pricing guidelines
• Participate in salesforce.com implementations including CPQ enhancements. Actively participate and identify areas of opportunities to effectively improve pricing process and price exception process
• Executing ad hoc activities related to pricing and profitability reporting and management (invoice troubleshooting, time critical sales inquiries, price corrections)
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion

What Youll Need

• Bachelors Degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field

• 7+ years of pricing, marketing, and/or finance experience

• Strong analytical skills with a record of developing and evaluating complex data sets

• Advanced user of Excel

• SFDC, CPQ, SAP experience required

• Strong Microsoft Suite abilities, including, but not limited to, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to provide influential leadership to reach business decisions
• Strong analytical skills
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility and adaptability
• Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and maturity in working with confidential and sensitive material
• Effective communication and presentation (creation/facilitation) skills with all levels of management
• Must be customer focused, seek continuous improvement and be highly self-directed
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
