Job Description

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers in the Inventory Control and Order Dept. engaged in receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, parts and assemblies

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
Analyze inventory reports and data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to ensure sufficient inventory levels and reduce stockouts.
Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to minimize inventory costs and improve productivity.
Coordinate and conduct physical inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and reconcile any discrepancies.
Monitor and manage inventory turnover rates to avoid excess inventory and minimize obsolescence.
Communicate inventory status and concerns to management in a timely and clear manner.
Maintain a safe and organized inventory storage area.
Train and develop team members on inventory control and management practices.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises employees in the Inventory Control Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation: $90K - $100K
