Purpose of the job

We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Lead to join our team and manage the delivery of IT projects and services for our clients. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the execution of IT projects, ensuring that they meet the quality, scope, budget, and timeline requirements. You will also be the main point of contact for the clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular updates, feedback, and guidance. You will also be involved in business development, proposal writing, and contract negotiation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience

  • 7 years of related and progressive experience combining IT delivery or support, solutions implementation, project management, operations management, team leadership
  • 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a consulting or service delivery role
  • 1 year of experience in project management

Required Education

  • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study (All Levels)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Work Experience

  • 10 years of related and progressive experience combining IT delivery or support, solutions implementation, project management, operations management, team leadership.
  • 10 years of experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks in a windows environment
  • 4 years of experience with thin client software and systems
  • 5 years deploying software to desktops/service using automated software and deployment tools
  • 5 years of systems integration experience in a large complex organization
  • 3 years of experience in project management

Preferred Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (All Levels)

Preferred Licenses

Preferred Certifications

  • Certification in IT project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL.

ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the delivery of IT projects and services for clients, ensuring that they meet the quality, scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular updates, feedback, and guidance.
  • Manage the project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, and escalate them as needed.
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are aligned with the client's expectations, requirements, and standards.
  • Facilitate the project meetings, workshops, and reviews, and document the outcomes and action items.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to the project team members, and foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Contribute to the business development, proposal writing, and contract negotiation activities.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends, best practices, and technologies, and apply them to the project delivery
  • Participate and/or lead large or complex technical projects

  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects and services on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the project team and stakeholders.
  • Advanced PC proficiency
  • Basic proficiency in spreadsheet, database, flow charting, and word processing software
