    Position Summary: The Help Desk Technician provides advanced support to end users.
    The Technology Support Technician provides advanced support to end users and others. The Support Technician assists with projects to include conducting proactive maintenance and monitoring to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

    Department: District Office Technology Infrastructure and Information Systems (High School Campus as assigned)
    Reports to: Director of Technology Infrastructure and Information Systems

    Training and Experience:
    • Experience with desktop and server environments such as Microsoft, Linux, and MAC OS
    • Demonstrated critical understanding of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Lync and Exchange
    • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL and Disaster Recovery best practices
    • Two or more years of equivalent experience in using support technologies
    • Current with new and evolving instructional technologies

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Position

    Salary Placement: Appropriate placement on the
    IT Service Desk Technician Grade 16
