QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid Nevada State Driver’s License and clean driving record • High school diploma or GED • Must be able to carry out duties without close supervision • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds as well as with a wide-range of other organizational personnel in a courteous and professional manner • Highly adaptable; thrives on challenges and excels in new environments • Forklift experience and certification • Should possess time management skills and be able to complete assigned tasks • Must able to complete all assigned work efficiently without assistance SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Janitor/Warehouse Worker will be responsible for performing routine cleaning duties daily as well as maintaining organization of warehouse and grounds areas. Will be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, making sure to keep supplies stocked in classrooms and bathrooms. Will also be responsible for performing minor maintenance including changing air filters, lightbulbs, etc. Janitor/Warehouse Worker will be responsible for setting up and tearing down for meetings or special events. Clean exterior of property as needed, including lawn maintenance and basic sprinkler repairs. Maintain records of smoke alarms tests and large refrigerator and freezer temperatures. Janitor/Warehouse Worker will be responsible for upkeep and organization of warehouse and grounds areas. Pick up, log and unload food donations from various locations as directed. Store and stock items in the warehouse, pantry, refrigerator and freezer. Supervise and assist with unloading trucks and distributing food. Supervise community service workers and volunteers in warehouse as assigned. Ensure all vehicles are cleaned, serviced, and repaired as needed. Ensure that all trash is neatly in the dumpster and dumpster area is free of debris. Other duties as assigned as they relate to the position.
