Job Preview at a Glance:

The Jr. Network Administrator will assist in the maintenance and support of the organization's network infrastructure. They will work closely with the IT Director and the Security Team to ensure the smooth operation of network systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement network security measures. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong foundation in networking who is looking to further develop their skills and gain hands-on experience.

Location and Schedule:

This is a Monday-Friday reporting in office to the Administration Office located off of 3rd Street and Osborne Rd. This position will require to travel to sites across the AZ state to troubleshoot network related issues.

Pay: Starting salary $60,000.00

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software components
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency
  • Conduct routine network maintenance tasks, such as firmware updates and patches
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of network security measures, including firewalls, Access Point, Active Directory, Azure, VPNs, and access controls
  • Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, equipment inventory, and configurations
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations for network improvements
  • Serve as contact point to manage ISPs and Vendors

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 2 years of related experience. (or equivalent experience)
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by Department of Public Safety or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Required to maintain a valid Arizona drivers license and pass motor vehicle screening for insurance purposes in order to travel to other sites.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Windows Server, CCNA, Network )
