Broad Function:

The Jr. Pricing Analyst supports the pre-sales process through determining the ideal target price for the product and services our organization has to offer. She/he partners with Sales, Solutions, Finance, Billing, and Delivery Services to develop optimal pricing to meet client expectations. Additionally, the Jr. Pricing Analyst performs ongoing pricing analysis across programs to align business trends and market values, and leverages this knowledge to support the business determine competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals. The Jr. Pricing Analyst will apply sales and value based process methodologies in his/her role to drive results and improvements focused around business growth.

Performance Responsibilities:

    • Provide pre-sales support by working with sales and solutions to determine cost, price, and quoting (CPQ) for new and/or existing client opportunities
    • Provide pre-sales support by analyzing price point data from multiple sources for new business opportunities
    • Document cost/price structures through implemented internal rate cards
    • Develop and support adaptation of complex and effective pricing models
    • Collaborate with sales and internal teams to develop sales strategies to increase profits
    • Provide thorough analytical breakdowns of pricing structures utilized to decision-makers for client delivery
    • Capture competitor pricing and market rates for comparable products/services
    • Support Solutions in their effort to address client needs in terms of Cost and Return on Investment (ROI)
    • Maintain price list reporting and documentation of existing client pricing models and quotes provided
    • Perform ad-hoc profitability analysis considering pricing impact (fluctuations) on existing client accounts
    • Support RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFQs (Request for Quote) upon delivery of a solution design for necessary pricing terms delivery
    • Work with the sales, product, and marketing teams to define pricing structure for new company products
    • Effectively communicate concerns/issues related to pricing risks for the product/service modeled
    • Make recommendations for improvements based on analysis of Sales/Solution delivery needs
    • Interact closely with various departments within the organization across multiple sites

Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years experience in Pricing, Solutioning, Program Management and/or Client Services within the same industry
    • Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent work experience
    • Hands on experience with cost sheets, pricing analysis, pricing tools, and contract reviews
    • Experience with commercial constructs (T&M, Fixed Bid, Transaction based, Gain-Share, BPaaS, structured deals)
    • Strong knowledge about the industry including competitors and market trends
    • Experience working w/ large databases and building data models is preferred
    • "Can do" attitude, willingness to make things happen and co-ordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals
    • Ability to work with limited and vague information from time to time
    • Keen eye for identifying opportunity
    • Detail-orientated to maintain accuracy of data collected
    • Strong problem solving, analytical, and research skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Tools - (Specifically Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Excellent Written and Oral Communication
    • Ability to work well independently and with a team
    • High degree of professionalism
    • Able to sit in front of a computer screen for long hours daily
