Job Description
We are seeking a motivated full-stack web developer with experience building services and websites using C#, .NET, SQL relational databases, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. The applicant should be comfortable deploying and managing software developed within a Windows server or Microsoft Azure environment.
The applicant should be familiar with principles of software development life cycle including the planning, design, development and implementation, deployment and maintenance stages. They also require an in-depth knowledge of different programming languages, frameworks and tools.
They should know how to write elegant code based on product specifications and requirements. They should be familiar with testing, debugging and improving their code and the work of their team members to deliver products on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate with the team, using Agile software development methodologies.
- Use Azure DevOps to track work items and git for source control.
- Develop C# code in a .NET Core environment using SQL Server in an n-tier architecture.
- Build custom web applications with MVC, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
- Develop RESTful APIs to communicate with custom internal and external applications
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Support new and existing software
- Maintain relationships between company personnel as well as outside vendors
- Participate in writing functional requirements and diagrams
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
- Team player, who is self-motivated and not afraid to share ideas and opinions.
- Pragmatic, get-things-done approach coupled with solid object-oriented best practices
- Proven experience with C# and OOD methodologies or thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with relational database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience with Web services development (SOAP, REST)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Use of Progress Sitefinity CRM a plus
- Prior Hospitality or gaming experience a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
- 2 years minimum experience with C#, Java, SQL, or React.js
- Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial}}
- Familiarity with Website and RESTful API development.
- Common Network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with modern CRM tools
