Job Description
The individual in this position performs routine clerical work for the , supporting the activities perform by the Center for Student Success and Services (CSSS) Advisor of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual enters student data into the computer tracking system; updates and keeps data current; distributes, receives, and processes applications for Tribal Scholarship and maintains contacts with students and educational institutions to obtain information regarding transcripts, grade reports and registration/class schedules. Work is performed in accordance with specific instructions for established work procedures requiring limited decision making. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associates Degree is preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in bookkeeping functions is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
