The Salvation Army in Chandler, AZ is looking to fill a Kettle Coordinator position. The successful candidate for this position will have a working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office applications, good organizational and communication skills and good customer service skills.

The Kettle Coordinator(KC) will participate in hiring, selection, training and scheduling bell ringers and drivers. This person will assist with orientation and processing of hire paperwork in conjunction with Human Resources. This employee will help set up and assemble kettles and stands, schedule drop off and pickup schedules for staff, kettles, and stands. This employee will respond to any and all complaints received by stores "Kettle" locations, assist with activities concerning toy donations and prepare and make bank deposits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years clerical experience
  • Previous Kettle experience is a plus
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license & able to satisfactorily complete the Fleet Safety programs
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Possess excellent problem solving skills
  • Able to pass required background checks
  • Must support the mission of The Salvation Army
