Kitchen Help

The incumbent in this position is responsible for preparing food to be cooked and plated by a head cook, chef, line cook or grill cook within the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Elder Services Department. The individual efficiently processes and completes needed steps in the food prep area. The incumbent ensures all prep items are prepared and stored to specifications. Cleans work area and other kitchen areas as defined by the Supervisors. High school diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of six (6) months of experience working in food service line settings or related field is required. Must possess an understanding and caring attitude toward senior citizens. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
