General Description of Duties: The primary duty of this position is to provide quality maintenance of all lawns and grounds of residences and facilities, as assigned. Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring grounds are maintained, while performing regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools.
• Will perform a range of general lawn maintenance duties, including but not limited to applying fertilizers/weed killer, maintaining the landscape design, removing weeds and dead plants, and repairs to landscaping equipment and sprinkler/Drip Line systems.
• This position will be responsible for ensuring the growth and vibrancy of our plants, flowers, lawn, trees and garden structures, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post high school training in landscaping.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role to include landscaping, grounds keeping and facilities maintenance is required.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment, tools and equipment associated with facilities maintenance. Must have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.

Other Requirements:

• Must pass the following: background/fingerprint investigation, pre-employment drug screening and TB test.
• Must have a NM Drivers License, and have own reliable transportation, insurable driving record and proof of current liability insurance.
