- Coordinate scheduling and placement of students in the West Texas AHEC region.
- Work with community partners to bring reasonably priced continuing education to the area for providers.
- Develop, track and monitor other programs and projects related to the grants, for example, the new Scholar Program.
- Assist communities with practice entry and support needs.
- Log appropriate activities into iAHEC system in a timely manner for grant reporting.
- Develop memorandum of agreements and affiliation agreements with appropriate parties.

- Responsible for planning and executing AHEC activities for institutional departments and outside organizations throughout the year.
- Responsible for the oversight of all event logistics and reporting to director regarding Continuing Based Education (CBE) functions.
- Identify and recruit health professions preceptors/training sites for medical students, nurse practitioner, physician assistant and other health care students in the region.
