OS CS – Lead Installer

Overview:
The person in this position supervises the actual installation of a project. This involves ensuring proper installation of the furniture according to the blueprints, as well as direct supervision of the installers and truckers on the jobsite.
Position Responsibilities:
- Organize – Plan and implement assignments for installers to best complete daily goals as well as the project.
- Communicate – Maintain contact with customers, project managers, general contractors, and other trades on the jobsite to ensure a smooth flow for the installation part of the project.
- Timesheets – Keep accurate records of man-hours by person, both for payroll and budgetary purposes. Turn these results in daily.
- Paperwork – Understand and maintain proper paperwork. Ensure that paperwork is properly filled out, signed, and turned in to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
- Complete site status updates on mobile project information system Procore.
- On Site Receiving - Confirm receipt of products shipped directly to project sites and note damage and confirm against order documents.
- Accountability – Monitor all developments in the installation portion of the project and ensure the proper completion of the project.
Position Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and valid insurance with a clean MVR – (Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle)
- Must possess all tools applicable for position
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Complete understanding of CAD blueprints
- Extensive knowledge of Steelcase and other lines of systems furniture, case goods, filing, and seating products
- Strong customer service skills
- Installation - Support the installers on the project with training help and/or help with actual installation, once other duties are under control.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
- Must be able to pass a background screening.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening (including marijuana).
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, professional appearance, and have excellent attendance.
Preferred Traits
- Experience with Steelcase systems furniture installation
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- CDL-A Experience highly desired

Hourly pay - $22.00 - $28.00 depending on experience.
