Position Summary: Receives, delivers and stocks all types of hospital supplies for patient units and departments. Upon request, will deliver supplies, surgical instruments and mail to all CGSMC sites using sterile techniques and good body mechanics.
Key Responsibilities: Delivers non-stock and JIT items to departments in accordance with departmental procedures. Operates equipment safely and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Must be available and prepared to work during scheduled hours to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Displays behaviors that are in line with the overall goals and values of the Medical Center. Drives the hospital vehicles in a safe manner at all times. Follows all safe handling instructions when delivering supplies.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of driving experience with a safe driving record is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid Massachusetts driver's license is required.
