Position Summary | The Department of Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies (LLSS) at the University of New Mexico, invites applications for a full time, Lecturer III in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Education beginning August 2025. UNM is the states flagship research university as well as a Hispanic-Serving Institution classified a Carnegie Research University with Highest Research Activity. UNM also has strong connections with 23 tribal sovereign nations located within New Mexico. As such, successful candidates must be committed to working with broadly diverse student and community populations. The successful candidate will have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. in TESOL before Fall 2025. The candidates research and teaching experience will indicate specialization in K-8 teaching in the U.S. and/or international settings. The successful candidate will teach a full course load of 4/4 courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in TESOL education and multicultural/diversity (K-8). |
