Position Summary |
The Technical Services Department of the College of University Libraries & Learnings Sciences (CULS&LS) is seeking a Library Information Specialist 3. The incumbent will be responsible for acquisition functions such as ordering, receiving and paying. The position will perform South Campus Repository (SCR) record work and processing. The work will consist in creating item level records, and customizing those records as required by the SCR workflow. Incumbent may also perform collection maintenance responsibilities, such as labeling, mending, and binding. The position will require trouble shooting, critical thinking, and independent judgement in close collaboration with the supervisor. The incumbent may also be assigned additional projects within Technical Services as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
