Our client is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker (LCSW/LSW) in the Bronx. Their state-of-the-art facility, is the first completely accessible domestic violence shelter for individuals with disabilities in the country.
Within their crisis shelter, our client provides comprehensive services to families and single individuals helping them recover from their experiences of trauma. Services include individual and group counseling, case management, assistance with housing and government benefits, on-site child care, occupational therapy, and Medical and psychiatric care. Their state-of-the-art facility is the first completely accessible domestic violence shelter for individuals with disabilities in the country.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide regularly scheduled weekly clinical supervision to 5 Social Workers, 1 Master level intern and others as required to ensure compliance with program goals and performance outcomes
* Monitor electronic case records including intakes, referrals, progress notes, and service plans
* Participate in case conferences and clinical meetings
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality services to residence.
* Assist with coordination and documentation of staff training
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION OF LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER
* Minimum Master's Degree
* Valid LCSW/LSW
* Minimum of one (1) year experience as a LCSW
* Must have current State licensure
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass background checks
