Therapist Description:

Licensed therapists work directly with our children/youth providing a safe and predictable environment. You would be providing assessments, direct clinical services, and case management in our mental crisis stabilization residential program.

Shifts vary, both part time and full time available.

Full Time Salary is $58,000 (LPCC) - $72,901 depending on experience and qualifications for licensed therapist.

Part Time Salary is $27.88 - $35.05 hourly.

Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

BONUS of $1,000-$2,000 after 30 days and upon completion of new hire training, and again after 9 months.

SIGNING BONUS: Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Must work a minimum of 20 hours/week to be eligible for bonus.

Shift Differentials for weekends and night shifts.

Through evidence-based practices and a therapeutic approach, we have served over 12,000 Colorado youth, ages 5-18 in our CSU programs. Our multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed clinicians, certified teachers, milieu counselors, teachers aides, and administrative personnel work together to meet the needs of our youth through New Vistas CSU and our day treatment program (Jefferson Hills Academy).

Job Duties:

• Work individually and as a team to provide a structured and safe environment for each child/youth placed at our program.
• Promote growth and recovery through individual and family sessions.
• Empower youth by helping develop treatment and personal growth goals and reaching those goals.
• Maintain necessary documentation upon intake, discharge, and while the youth are at our program.
• Work with Case Managers and other members of the youths team to ensure a smooth admission and continued care upon discharge.
• Complete initial and on-going training.

Education/Requirements

• LPC, LMFT, LCSW or comparable license
• Masters degree in related field to behavioral health
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer skills
• Able to pass a drug test, including marijuana
• Able to pass a background and driving records checks
• At least 21 years of age
