Our client is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Chesterfield, VA region.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide nursing services to consumers living in a community based ICF/MR.
* Maintain quality medical standards via direct and indirect interventions.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
* Implement nursing inverventions (assessing health status, vital signs, administers medication, etc)
* Complete required clinical documentation
* Communicate and work collaboratively with other staff
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Graduation from an accredited nursing program
* Current licensure as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Viginia or any compact state.
* Must have a current CPR (or BLS) Certification
* One year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred, with chronic disease management experience.
