Our client in Washington, DC is looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide clinical and mental health support for individuals participating in addictions recovery treatment.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Thoroughly complete psychosocial assessments
* Discharge Planning and collaborate with discharge planner on complex discharge needs
* Complete treatment plan interventions with signatures
* Provide individual/family and group therapy sessions appropriate to client needs
* Collaborate with attending physician, discharge planners and nursing staff regarding safety, treatment and continuum of care
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or other relevant field
* Must posses active clinical license in Washington, DC such as: LPC, LGPC, Resident in Counseling (or similiar)
* Experience providing direct services to individuals in crisis strongly preferred
* Local, State, or Federal Criminal History background check
