Overview

APHC personnel provide requirements-driven services to promote healthy people, communities, animals and work places through the prevention of disease, injury and disability of Soldiers, Military Retirees, their Families, Veterans, DA Civilian Employees and animals through studies, surveys and technical consultations.

Works under guidance from the Logistic Division Chief who provides initial outline of duties and written or oral instructions regarding changes in established policies, practices, procedures as well as assignments to be accomplished.

Duties:

  • Document and organize data for Initial Outfitting and Transition (IO&T) potential gain of Found on Installation (FOI) property spreadsheet organization.
  • Prepare Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) Out of Balance report.
  • Research Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs) for property tagged with a generic national stock numbers (NSN) and create a spreadsheet documentation in support of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) requests
  • Input and maintain property locations in DMLSS.
  • Build and maintain an Electronic Catalog (ECAT) catalog in DMLSS
  • Inspect hand receipt files against DMLSS to ensure correctness.
  • Ensure property forms are filled in correctly.
  • Remove old copies of Hand Receipt files when Hand Receipts are updated.
  • Ensure serial/registration numbers are entered in the property book correctly.
  • Ensure hand receipts contain all applicable documentation as required by regulation.
  • Monitor and report overdue Hand Receipts for semi-annual inventories.
  • Verify Administrative Adjustments Reports to ensure supporting paperwork is included.
  • Ensure lateral transfer transactions have appropriate paperwork and are generated properly in DMLSS.

Other:

Operate computer terminal with a standard typewriter-style keyboard and special function keys, to include related equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).

Proficiency in MS Office Suite version 2013 (Outlook email, calendar, Excel and Word) a plus

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of directly-related expereience; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained. Some post-secondary education preferred.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with experience.
