Performs patient observation, collects data related to patient care, administers medication, treatment and procedures, implements the plan of nursing care and communicates findings to the RN according to policies and procedures while maintaining standards identified in the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating and collaborating with the healthcare team to identify and meet the physical, psychosocial, functional, and emotional needs of the patients. Assume personal accountability for organizational mission, core and SHARE values.
What You Bring/Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need thefollowing:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- LPN Current state LPN license for applicable state of employment
- BLS Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- LPN's interested in continuing education and enrolled or enrolling in school for RN license preferred
Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
