LPN Requirements:

*Pennsylvania LPN Certification

*BLS

*Clearances as required by state and federal regulations

*Crisis Management training (within 90 days of hire)

*Experience with Behavioral Health populations

Job Duties:

*Assists in the delivery of patient care by providing care in accordance with designed treatment plan, actively engaging patients in discussion of their care plan, and reviewing associated progress and documenting accordingly.

*Provides milieu management by encouraging and/or assisting patients to perform all activities of daily living activities and participate in designed programming.

*Monitors the environment and screens patients for related safety issues. Reports and documents findings as required.

*Demonstrates leadership in responding to patient related behavioral crisis or emergencies.

*Uses accepted practices and therapeutic modalities to assist patients in regaining or improving their coping abilities.

* Administers patient Scheduled and PRN medications.
