Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in direct and indirect patient care and health teaching to the full extent of his/her generic and continuing education, competence, and experience. This position may delegate duties to other caregivers as required/permitted and will consistently provide appropriate supervision. Works with other staff members to meet the goals, objectives, and standards of the unit and contributes to the attainment of divisional and system wide goals and objectives.
Schedule: 32 HR Nights
Education: Graduate of School of Practical Nursing
Experience: Patient care experience preferred
Certification/Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Basic Life Support Certification
Software/Hardware: Basic computer literacy
