LPN Supervisor - Full Time

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The LPN Supervisor functions as the charge nurse for a designated neighborhood, building(s) or campus area(s) providing supervision and coordination of all aspects of nursing care and administrative and operational support to staff, residents and the public, The LPN Supervisor works under the general direction of the Assisted Living Clinical Supervisor. Supervise assigned neighborhood, building(s) or campus area(s).

The LPN Supervisor performs related tasks including but not limited to:

• medication review, supervising medications administration, monitoring compliance with physician orders
• arranges for treatments, assessments, TB testing (of residents and staff as needed), weekly wellness clinic and lab draws
• Directs, monitors and manages the work of certified caregivers
• completes resident service plans and assessments in a timely manner
• Coordinate and implement quality assurance for direct patient care and clinical follow-up
• Ensures adequate staffing coverage, delegate assignments and adjusts staffing as needed
• Responsible for compliance with Assisted Living Regulations. Work collaboratively with team to ensure that regulations are being met.

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat and push/pull using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to relate with staff, residents and physicians in a fair, tactful and courteous manner under all circumstances.
• High level of flexibility and tolerance to adjust to changes in workloads, assignments, and to work effectively under stress of meeting resident needs.
• Competent in the use of email, word processing and electronic medical records.
