Maintenance Engineer (Downtown Charleston)

East West Hospitality is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to be part of elevating our properties to unparalleled standards at our Downtown Charleston properties, including The Gadsden, Anson House, Tides IV and The Waterfront. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the interior and exterior buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. Duties include:

• Execute regular maintenance duties, encompassing painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry tasks.
• Responsibly fulfill all designated maintenance service requests.
• Alert supervisor promptly regarding significant repairs and subcontractor advancements.
• Preserve association-managed equipment, conduct minor repairs, and remain accessible for on-call maintenance duties.

Location: Charleston, SC (The Gadsden, Anson House, Tides IV and The Waterfront)

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $22 - 26/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full Time, mostly M-F with some weekends seasonally

• 2-3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Proficient in electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting.
• Strong organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with diverse building systems such as access control, HVAC, fire detection, and life safety systems.
