Maintenance Support Laborer, Appleton, WI, 3rd shift, Hiring Immediately

Leadpoint Business Services has a Maintenance support worker position available at a recycling center in Appleton, Wi. The Maintenance support worker performs repairs and maintenance on recycling equipment, compact heavy equipment, and light trucks to maximize safe and productive operations. Repairs may include, but are not limited to, routine maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems, recycling equipment, electrical systems, balers, conveyor systems and compactors.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance support Laborer
Adjust, Maintain, Repairs or replaces parts on multiple systems as directed.
Completes field service reports on a work order system daily.
Overhauls or replaces machine components and replace worn items.
Communicates with supervisor and/or equipment operators for clarification of problems.
Assists with preventative methods and techniques to minimize future repairs.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Complies with all corporate policies and safety guidelines

Requirements of the Maintenance support Laborer
Valid drivers license (Required).
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to take direction from supervisory personnel.

Physical demands and abilities
Frequently lift to 50 up to 80 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
