Maintenance Lead

Under direct supervision learns to perform and assist others in a variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery and facilities; and performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Maintain plant facilities and buildings, perform ground maintenance.
* Learns to inspect, locate, and diagnose mechanical defects on production equipment and facilities.
* Learns to install and service a variety of equipment, including motors, pipelines, valves and other types of stationary machinery, and equipment; assists with the more complex installation, servicing rebuilding, replacement, and maintenance of equipment.
* Learns to use and uses mechanics tools, welders, plumbing tools, and machinist tools to fabricate, rebuild, strengthen, and maintain various parts and pieces of mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing special structures and equipment as needed.
* Repairs and replaces pipes, valves, fittings and other related equipment.
* Works in confined spaces, indoors, outdoors, and at elevated locations.
* Operates lift trucks, aerial lifts, and other hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
* Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
* Must follow safety principles and practices.
* Must have knowledge of general methods, tools, and equipment used in mechanical maintenance and repair work.
* Must have knowledge of the general principle of proper tool usage and mechanical maintenance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule:
Monday - Saturday (Some Sundays)
5am-3:30pm

Compensation: $30/hr
