Mammography Tech - Full Time - Davis Hospital

Mammography Technologist

Performs diagnostic mammography procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their mammogram. Demonstrates support of the Medical Center's mission, values and vision in all actions and interactions with employees, patients, medical staff, guests and visitors through use of STAR key words: Service, Teamwork, Accountability/Attitude, Responsiveness.

Required:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography.
• Radiology (RAD) License in the State of Utah.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to operate mammography equipment and stereotactic localization devices.
• Current BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider

Preferred:

• One (1) year mammography experience preferred.
• Additional languages preferred.
