Mammography Tech Lead - Full Time

*Shift: Days, 8:30a-5:00p

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Imaging and Physical Therapy, Director of Radiology, and in consultation with the Medical Director, the Mammography Technologist Lead performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for Radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/License/Certification:

• Must have and maintain current licensure in Radiologic Technology and Mammographic Radiologic Technology from the State of California.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography is required.
• Must have and maintain current BLS Certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.

Experience/Skills:

• One (1) year experience preferred
• Must be familiar with all type of Mammography Equipment

Must be competent with Quality Assurance Testing and documentation requirements for CDPH, MQSA, and ACR accrediting bodies.
