Lincoln Property Company, in conjunction, with Fannie Maes Future Housing Leaders (FHL) is currently hiring for a Management Intern to learn the daily operations of the on-site management office, multi-site operations and corporate support departments.

Partnering with Future Housing Leaders brings more diversity and inclusivity, and supports interns as they enter the housing industry. Together, we can help advance racial equity, improve access to affordable housing, and create career opportunities.

During your eight-week track, you will learn leasing and marketing, bookkeeping, budgeting, leadership, management and so much more. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to acquire the essential skills from our administrative assistants, recruiting, training and marketing departments.

Responsibilities

Adhere to outlined eight-week internship calendar and checklist
Attend all required training and complete e-learning courses
Check assigned email regularly
Check in with assigned internship program directors regularly and report any issues that arise
Learn how to inspect the property in the following areas:
o Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies and complete service requests in property management software
o Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path
o Community policy violation, repairs needed, landscaping check, etc.
Receive training on how to interact with guests and neighbors in the following areas:
o Deposits, rent collections, late notices and posting rent
o Taking move out notices, service requests, resident transfers, etc.
Master the art of welcoming guests, qualifying them, touring the community, and leasing apartment homes, which includes completing application and lease paperwork
Become familiar with competitive properties, including sister communities in the area
Work with the team to actively post on community social pages and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews
Understand the multi-site role and responsibilities of a Regional Property Manager
Apprentice with the Training, Marketing, Recruiting and Administrative departments
Collaborate with all employees to foster the LPC team spirit
Adhere to all LPC policies and procedures

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
Comfortable with utilizing various social media platforms to assist with community outreach and relationship marketing
Enjoys meeting new people, providing excellent customer service and sales
Skilled in basic math
Must have vast knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Leadership and collaboration ability
Ability to use available resources to effectively complete tasks
Multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner
Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation as local travel in the Atlanta area will be required
