Manager; Business and Payment Model Development

Job Description
Plan and Develop new payment models impacting multiple lines of business
-Document program design and strategy
-Plan/Document go-to-market strategy
-Work with VBC Ops to create training, PADU, model contracts, Map E2E bundle administration process
-Day to day management of consultant engagement(s)
-Launch new models, ensure program objectives, ROI, milestones and then when in flight and stable, transition oversight to VBC Ops
-Collaborate with Innovation team on the design of new payment and service models
-Coordinate with Provider Engagement team to ensure that we incorporate leanings from the field into our model development

Negotiate sophisticated strategic provider and/or vendor agreements, including, but not limited to JV Healthplan, NextGen clinics, MSOs, chronic care carveouts, etc
-Create and articulate deal thesis, negotiate favorable terms, document resulting deal in a contract

Required Qualifications
Background Experience Desired
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.
Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
Experience in all aspects of value based contracting
10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience.
Project management experience.
Blend of strategic experience and yet strong at execution
Supervisory experience.
Exceptional executive presence/communication skills

Bachelors required, Masters preferred
