Position Summary: Responsible for providing analytical support for a department consisting of Meritain Healths Plan Build, Renewal and Reporting, Eligibility and COBRA organizations. Creates and executes specific deliverables for business-sponsored projects, initiatives and activities for the department. Creates tools, gathers data, conducts analysis, and defines success and measurement criteria across the department. Coordinates within and across departments to identify, track, report, and drive efficiency opportunities in support of business goals and initiatives.

Fundamental Components:
- Transform data, understand patterns, and draw conclusions in a hypothesis driven approach to analysis.
- Design creative solutions while always thinking about the big picture.
- Use analytical tools such as Tableau, Access, etc. to capture and analyze large data sets from multiple data sources; use analytical tools in the creation of decision-making tools for multiple functional areas and for all levels of leadership.
- Create tools, gather data, conduct analysis, and define success and measurement criteria across the department.
- Lead and assist with, as appropriate, new products and services impacting the department.
- Identify and implement enhancements to processes and systems resulting in operational efficiencies.
- Perform analysis and translate business needs to create high-quality Business Requirements and Functional Specifications documents considering all impacted components from an end-to-end perspective.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners; create and present briefings supported by data to internal partners, clients and brokers as appropriate.
- Contribute to the review of Test Planning and Test Execution strategies.
- Develop business workflow diagrams.
- Document, track, and resolve issues related to data quality.
- Identify and implement enhancements to the system for group setups, changes and operational efficiencies.
- Contribute to the design and mapping of enhancement strategies.
- Participate in collaborative system and data design sessions with the users, technical architecture resources, and development resources.
- Develop Product Overviews, FAQs, Tool Glossaries, system training materials, and system user documentation to support operational activities.
- Conduct system and process audits, lead process improvements and develop trend reports.
- Guide, coach and mentor less-experienced Business Analysts and Business Consultants within the department.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to successfully interact with members across business units and with external clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of stakeholders, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications
- Possess sound knowledge of Meritain Operational processes.
- Experienced with analytic tools/languages such as Tableau, Access, etc. to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources.

Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
