Manager, Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence

Bloomin' Brands is looking for a Manager of EDW/BI to join the team! This Manager will play a crucial role in delivering key enterprise information assets like OBIEE, Power BI reports, and dashboards to help drive business objectives.

This role will partner closely with and support various teams in the organization, oversee and manage processes, tools, and resources related to business intelligence, financial planning, and reporting. The Manager must have a strong technical background and extensive knowledge in designing systems to handle big data efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business intelligence team to ensure reporting SLAs and deadlines are met, oversee the design & maintenance of data warehouse and reporting tools, and supervise administration of enterprise planning and budgeting tools
• Work with key stakeholders and cross functional teams including Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, HR and IT to understand data requirements and business needs for various purposes, including data analytics and integrations with applications
• Support Accounting and Finance teams in the administration of planning and forecasting cycles
• Collaborate with external vendors to plan, coordinate, and supervise administration and development activities related to Business Intelligence and Planning platforms
• Perform the role of data subject matter expert, and knowledgably discusses the data warehouse design and what is available for data consumers
• Lead, guide and mentor the BI team to help achieve efficient business outcomes
• Work closely with the ETL team to ensure high data quality and support existing and new solutions that impact reporting and analytics
• Be responsible for implementing the companys data retention policy

Desired Experience

• 7+ years in experience with data analytics, reporting, and data warehousing with a focus on Power BI and / or OBIEE
• Experience in implementing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) solutions and pre-built BI analytics, Hyperion Essbase and Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
• Understanding of finance business processes, including forecasting and budgeting cycles, and actual corporate reporting requirements
• Working knowledge and experiences in ETL/Data integration with commercial tools such as Informatica
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts including star schema, snowflake schema, and a track record of designing efficient and scalable data models using Power BI
• Strong command of SQL and other database querying languages
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Finance and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience
