Job Description

Broward House, a non-profit HIV and Health Related Service organization is searching for Supervisor for our Case Management department. The person selected will be tasked the administrative and program responsibilities of staff providing social services and medical case management services. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of case management with individuals living with HIV, as well as with clients who have experience homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse. It is vital the candidate provides a supportive culture with a focus on client care and staff empowerment.

In addition to other responsibilities, this position is responsible for:

  • Maintains appropriate staffing patterns with qualified personnel, supervision and training Formulating, reviewing and revising policies and procedures to ensure best practice
  • Lead an internal committee to expand a library of resources to support client needs
  • Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives for services and documentation
  • Address and document client and provider concerns prior to the grievance procedure and Director Involvement.
  • Supervise and support staff to expand knowledge and skill to meet client needs and program deliverables.
  • Attend and Facilitate community, program meetings, staff meetings and trainings as determined by Director
  • Participate in developing and implementing services programs in order to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Utilize a strength based approach to supervision of staff and client interventions.
  • Maintain collaborative relationship with medical partners



  • Masters degree in Social Work or Health and Human Services from an accredited institution
  • Five Years of experience as a Case Manager
  • Ryan White funding knowledge
  • Advanced Knowledge of HIV/AIDS
  • Advance Knowledge of Case Management
  • Prevention Intervention knowledge preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Substance Abuse intervention and prevention
  • Two Years of supervisory and program management experience
  • Ability to respond to critical/crisis situations effectively
  • Rotating On call for 24 hour emergencies
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills required: Microsoft Office, Multiple Databases, and Scheduling Programs and Provide Enterprise
