*Valvoline World Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY, but we invite remote candidates to apply as well. Ideally, we would like candidates located in nearby markets (Cincinnati, Louisville, and Nashville), but we are open to other locations.
How Youll Make an Impact
The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing all aspects of the Marketing Program for Valvolines group of Express Care quick lube locations. This role encompasses the measurement and improvement of marketing tools, management of marketing vendors, and responsibility for brand guidelines. The Marketing Manager will also support Valvolines team of Express Care Business Advisors as they consult with operators in the field and play a key role as a member of the Express Care Leadership Team. In the role, you would be responsible for:
- Managing the creation and execution of the annual Valvoline Express Care Marketing Program, communicating with all stakeholders. Assuring the appropriate usage of Valvoline and Valvoline Express Care brand standards
- Controlling all aspects of the relationship between Valvoline and Express Care marketing vendors, including communication, contracts/legal, performance, etc.
- Consulting with, coaching, and assisting Express Care location owners/operators on marketing tools, tactics, and best practices. Play a key role in onboarding new stores, as it relates to marketing.
- Executing all corporate communications that are sent to Express Care owners/operators.
- As a member of the Express Care Leadership Team, engaging in routine staff meetings, updates, planning/strategy exercises and play a key role in all Express Care related meetings and events.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What Youll Need
- BA/BS in business related field
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, with some demonstrated ability to work with small business owners
- Working knowledge of general marketing principles
- Digital savvy
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to seek guidance and ask questions across multiple channels of an organization
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting
- General financial aptitude
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in a written and verbal manner
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Team player
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
