Reports To: Director, Perinatal Services

Summary: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse assumes responsibility to assist in patient care to promote comfort and safety of patients during the shift worked. Emphasis will be toward nursing care delivered, maintaining the customer service standard, teamwork and meeting the basic needs of the patient. The population to be served is the OB/GYN patient.

Requirements: Basic computer skills preferred, current BLS certification, Certified or Technician, High School graduate or equivalent preferred. One year experience in an acute and/or obstetrical setting preferred.
