McKinney-Vento Driver / Transporter

McKinney-Vento Driver/Transporter - $12.15 phr (part-time) with no benefits. Monday - Friday, 3 to 4 hours per day. Clean driving record, Arizona driver's license.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Must hold a valid class drivers license.
3. No previous record of repeated traffic violations.
4. Honest, punctual and dependable.
5. Knowledge of basic first aid.
6. Experience as a bus driver.
7. Must be able to relate well with people, have an understanding of children and be dedicated to their safety.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To deliver children safely to and from school.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Check and ensure vehicle is operating properly before departure. Make reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Drive assigned regular routes.
• Transport students as required.
• Follow all safety rules and traffic laws when transporting students.
• Provide a clean and sanitary vehicle for students to occupy.
• Obey traffic laws and driving regulations.
• Be able to handle emergencies in vehicle operation.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
