Compensation (Pay): $18.08 to $27.03/per hour based on experience. A $1000 sign on bonus will be paid in the following manner: $300 payout upon 30 days of employment, $300 payout upon 90 days of employment, and $400 payout upon one year of employment*.

Job Summary:

The primary function of this position is supporting Clinical Operations, through the development and maintenance of clinical education/training/skills maintenance initiatives. Support and coordination include: partnering with medical clinics and student preceptors to ensure student/extern success, performing skill labs and assessing skills of Medical Assistants and Resource Navigators, facilitating various meetings and conference calls. In addition this position includes: participation in a variety of ongoing training projects, the continual education and development of clinical staff, supporting and aiding in the development of a team-based care model, and monitoring quality and MU/UDS measures of clinical staff. The Clinical Education Coordinator will also work in conjunction with clinics throughout the organization to ensure all staff are optimally trained on the EHR and provide support for audits and verifying quality assurance standards are being met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works in conjunction with Clinical Leadership to orientate, train, and develop clinical staff and Medical Assistant students.
  • Travels to various clinics to provide on-site training support for clinical staff and Medical Assistant students, externs, and Medical Assistant Leads.
  • Participates as needed in various clinical projects and develop training plans and training materials.
  • Assists with training design and content development as needed.
  • Solicits and communicates feedback from clinical staff regarding clinical workflows, the Medical Assistant student program and associated processes and policies.
  • Works collaboratively with quality assurance in order to maintain and monitor quality measures in clinics and pertaining to the Medical Assistant and Resource Navigator workflows.
  • Coordinates and facilitate meetings.
  • Provides support for and tracks annual/ongoing Medical Assistant competencies skills checks (Completing monthly reports for Senior Operations Leadership).
  • Provides support for and tracks annual/ongoing Resource Navigator competencies skills checks (Completing monthly reports for Senior Operations Leadership).
  • Ensures Medical Assistant and Resource Navigator NEO is followed and acts as a trainee advocate when gaps are identified.
  • Supports Medical Assistant retention through training, support, and MA remediation activities.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent education. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or EMT program required.

Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of previous professional healthcare or social service experience required. Training and program coordination experience preferred. Experience with educational programs is preferred.

Computer Skills: Intermediate - ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use email to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort, and filter merges, and also perform basic work with existing Macros; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data, and elaborate reports; work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases; customize templates in the PowerPoint environment, and to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons.

Certificates & Licenses: MA/EMT certificate and Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or EMT program required. A valid Driver's Licenses in good standing.
Current CPR (BCLS) certification required.
