About this opportunity:

Our client, a busy oncology practice located in Broward County is looking for an experienced Medical Practice Collector with the ability to bring all accounts to satisfactory resolution. The medical collector will be expected to problem solve and take all necessary actions to resolve all outstanding claims. Our client is looking for a contractor that can commit to bringing their accounts current for the next couple of months. If you enjoy insurance collections, overcoming obstacles and challenging accounts, we would love to hear from you. Position will be onsite- office setting with (2) other employees. Desks are more than 12ft. apart for proper safety protocol. Masks are required upon entering the office along with using in common walking areas of the office, kitchen, restroom and hallways.

Pay rate: $17hr.

Hours: 8a.m. – 3:30p.m., Mon. – Fri.

Duties:

• ?Use all billing systems data to identify opportunities to increase collections
• Exceed KPI and productivity goals for all unpaid, underpaid, and aged encounters
• Work with Revenue Cycle Manager to resolve all open issues
• Track and report all issues that delay claims resolution for the practice
• Work in a coordinated team effort to reduce denials and increase first pass claims payments

Qualifications:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Detail oriented with time management and organizational skills
• The ability to adapt in the ever-changing world of Revenue Cycle Management
• A team-oriented approach with a positive “Can do” attitude
• Medical practice related collections within specialties such as: dermatology, oncology, rheumatology, internal medicine or cardiology

Applicants will work in the customer's facility - located in Tamarac, FL
