Position Summary

Would you like to join a clinical department with the University of New Mexicos School of Medicine? The University of New Mexico Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a motivated, self-directed candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Medical Education team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for fiscal and administrative functions associated with our education mission. Coordinating rotations for various learners in the anesthesiology clinical environment, participating in the planning and execution of resident didactic schedules, resident interviews, process call payments, leave tracking, proctor periodic testing, and various projects as needed.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience w/Smartsheets, Dropbox, Google docs, or other electronic tracking systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience creating reports
  • Basic accounting functions
  • Knowledge and understanding of undergraduate medical education processes and requirements
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Policies and Procedures
