Medical Technologist - Microbiology - 32 hours - 230pm-11pm

Position Summary:

Performs a wide range of complex clinical laboratory analyses in specific of in all major sections of the Laboratory; recognizes problems, identifies causes, synthesizes alternatives, and applies solutions. Confirms and verifies results through an in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instrumentation. Reports to the Section Head.

Key Reponsibilities:

-May serve as Charge person in the absence of Supervisor/Section Head.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Detail oriented and organizational skills

-Exercises accuracy and precision in completion of prescribed tasks and treatments.

Education:

Bachelor's degree is Medical Technology or equivalent

Experience:

One year experience in clinical laboratory or equivalent

Certification/Licensure:

MT (ASCP) or equivalent
