Medicare Marketing Communications Manager

Job Description
Develops and manages the implementation of direct-to-consumer marketing strategies for Aetna Marketing in support of the growing, fast-paced, Individual Medicare Advantage business line.
Designs integrated communications campaigns (email, direct mail, digital, etc.) to support strategic business objectives.
Collaborates with internal departments and outside agencies to strategize, plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns.
Sets the direction and tone of communications projects.
Is assigned long-range projects and is reviewed through achievement of objectives according to pre-defined goals.

Consults with internal customers, including Senior Management and peers inside and outside of Marketing, on marketing communications initiatives critical to business unit success. This requires the ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of the business. Applies advanced marketing principles, theories and concepts.

Required Qualifications
Requires advanced knowledge and specialized expertise in direct-to-consumer marketing and experience in one or more sub-disciplines (email marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications, advertising, agency management).
Also requires 5+ years of marketing work-related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare marketing experience.
