Job Description

We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout 7 Texas Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school age child care provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life for over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizen.

The HUTTO FAMILY YMCA in Hutto, TX, is now accepting applications for energetic, dependable and articulate individuals to work as a Membership Services Rep in our fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

General duties include, but are not limited to: greeting and assisting members while providing outstanding customer service, answering phones in a professional manner, general data entry and clerical functions, and giving tours of our facility. Strong sales background, excellent organizational and communication skills, must be able to milt-task efficiently, computer literate, customer service experience.

Candidates must be available to work their assigned shifts. Punctuality, reliability, and a pleasant personality is a MUST. Cash handling experience is a plus. We are specifically hiring for Monday-Thursday 4:45am-8:30am and 1-2 Saturday shifts 6:45am-1pm or 1pm-5:15pm per month for a minimum of 12 hours and up to a maximum of 29 hours per week.

You must be able to pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender check.

Skills / Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years customer service experience
  • Demonstrated data processing skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Ability to process a large volume of work
  • Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse clientele and team members

  • Ability to work with complex accounts and highly confidential information
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
