How this role supports our mission:

A full-time position located at the Youth on the Rise (YOTR) re-engagement centers, The REC and METRO. This position reports to the Metro Program Manager and the administrative team of The REC Oversight Agency.

What we require from you:

Special requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Social Services or Education, or related field preferred.

Minimum two (2) years experience serving at-risk youth, preferred

Required to obtain AZ Department of Public Safety fingerprint and background clearance within 90 days of employment

Establish positive relationships with all youth and families and establish weekly contact, as needed.

Using established data management system to create case files and upload data accurately and timely.

Develop Individual Success Plans and coordinate and implement academic services, employment plans, tutoring, interventions, and case management, as needed.

Provide support, mentorship, and tutoring for youth enrolled in Grad Solutions / GED Pathways

Monitor and maintain current GED and TABE curriculum and testing procedure

Communicate routinely with designated personnel in education, behavioral health, social support, and career service agencies

Work collaboratively and continually with Goodwill staff, YOTR agencies, and the United Way of Tucson to create new programming

Provides job development and placement services to youth in obtaining employment.

Administer youth assessments including academic, behavioral health, and workforce protocols

Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.

Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and environments.

Ability to read, write, and speak English; follow written and verbal instruction. Bilingual a plus.

Possess current AZ drivers license, and personal transportation with proof of auto insurance.
