Position Summary

The Division of Enrollment Management invites applicants for the position of Manager, Business Services. This successful candidate will handle the financial operations and budget for the units within Enrollment Management. This position will also serve on the Vice President of Enrollment Managements leadership team. Will assist in efforts contributing to UNMs enrollment efforts by providing accurate, timely and robust financial tracking and reporting. Will work with directors in all units in providing them updates regarding budget, financial reporting, and business support services.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Computer skills and experience using a variety of software (including internal financial reporting platforms and MS Excel) are preferred.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with UNM platforms including Banner Finance (forms, reports, etc.), Chrome River, etc.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and other common software platforms for accounting and fiscal reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
