Splunk is a software used to search , analyze and report the machine data coming from various sources like - web applications, sensors, devices or any data created by user. Typical job activities are as below
- Development and customization of Splunk apps and dashboards
- Development data exporter scripts ( mainly using python ) from multiple data sources to visualize them in Splunk
- Development of Pipeline scripts for Jenkins
- Support technical queries related to Splunk and provide solution to end users
- Development & Execution of necessary tests as part of development.
- Delivery and Configuration management.
- Participation in regular scrum ceremonies or global team meetings.
- Regular Interaction with other function development team to solve issues faced by them and providing solutions
- Should have good oral & written communication skills
B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics / E&C / Information Science or MCA
Technical Skills required:
3 to 5 years of experience in
- Splunk tool - App development , customization and support
- Experience in programming using Python
- Knowhow on OSLC web services and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with JIRA , Bitbucket and confluence
- Working experience on Jenkins
Knowhow of the following is advantage
- Working knowledge on IBM ALM tools - DOORS, DNG, RQM , RTC
- Working experience with testing frameworks
- ISO26262 classification and qualification methods
- SQL programming and Knowhow of various databases
