Network Security Engineer

The incumbent in this position is responsible for serving as an architect and lead Network Security Engineer for the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This individual is part of the Information Security Team and works closely with Network and Systems Infrastructure teams to design, implement, configure, and maintain, firewall policies, network segmentations and network security platforms. The incumbent provides local, regional, and company-wide networking services support that includes configurations, implementation, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting for firewalls, related networking and connected platforms. The individual establishes governance over the organization's security posture with use of network security management framework. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related field is required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Firewall configuration and policies ,and Cisco networking (route/switch/wireless) experience is required. A minimum of three (3) years ofexperience working with next-generation Firewalls, load balancers, and reverse proxies is required. Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) integration via RADIUS is a plus. Possession of one(1) or more active network security or information security certifications, such as Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Security+.
