Network - Systems Engineer

Loews Hotels, which encompases Universal Orlando's Epic Universal Resort Hotels and Loews Auxiliary Support Facilities, is actively recruiting for a Network - Systems Engineer. As the Network - Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks across the Loews Hotels Orlando campus as well as the WAN with Loews Hotels Corporate and Auxiliary Facilities. As The Network Engineer, you will also be responsible for assisting with project management tasks as well as departmental documentation, financial aspects as it relates to the budget, and ownership of the requisition and procurement process.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering role.

Job Specific Scope:

• Minimum of 1-2 years prior work experience required with:
• Datacenter networks including wireless, using industry-standard hardware (Cisco, Ruckus, HPE)
• Fiber and copper network infrastructure (testing, troubleshooting)
• Possessing knowledge with:
• TCP/IP routing protocols
•  Multicast configuration and troubleshooting
• SolarWinds
• Data network architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols
• Wireshark (packet capture and analysis)
• MS Office (focus on Visio, Word and Excel)
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, MPLS).
• Experience with enterprise-grade WIFI solutions (e.g. Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus)
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Enterprise WIFI and Datacenter experience
• Palo Alto experience preferred
